Instructions.
Where-the-FLOC? uses storage on your device and location finding to record your position.
Please make sure that permissions to do this are switched on.
Now you can start filling out your first log entry...
Enter your boat's name, and number, if you want, and perhaps your own name as the skipper. And any notes you care to take (this is a good area to keep track of the fluid levels for your engine.)
If you want you can take a photo of your boat in the place where it's moored. Where-The-FLOC only saves about the ten most recent photos in your log, if you want to save more, periodically export the log as a PDF.
Your location details should be filled in automatically once your device's GPS has found you. If the details don't look quite right, then can press the 'find me' button to ask your device to try again.
When you're ready, you should click or touch the save button to record the log entry.
If you prefer to delete the entry you've made, just click or touch the trash button. You can delete old log entries too.
Next time you open this page it'll come straight to your latest entry. Click or touch this button to make a new log record.
You can look through your log with the forward and back arrow buttons, or simply swipe left and right to turn the pages.
You can also save a logentry (or the entire log) using the export to PDF buttons. I recommend you always export your latest log entry to PDF, as Where-The-FLOC only stores only the most recent photos internally (up to 1.5MB.)
Under the tools button you can find three options: to back up your log, to restore your log from a saved back up, and to back up and then delete your log so that you can start afresh.
